Tips & Tricks: Optimizing Sound for 2 Speakers

Did you know you can create a theatre-like audio environment with only 2 PC speakers?

Are you still skeptical about whether PC speakers can create a theater-like audio environment when you are playing DVD movie titles on your PC? As more and more DVD movie titles on the market today are encoded with surround sound mechanisms you can now optimize your movie audio experience with your standard 2 PC speaker set using PowerDVD XP.

Note: The audio options available to you will depend on the capabilities of your version of the software, your sound card, and the type of media you are viewing. (To find out what audio features your version of PowerDVD offers, please click here) Not all options are available in all instances.

Here's how you can choose the different audio settings for your PC speakers:

Step 1
After launching your PowerDVD XP program, please locate the Configuration Menu by right clicking on the screen to bring up the Express Menu and select Configuration or click on Configuration Menu from the Control Panel. PowerDVD XP Configuration Button
