Bookmarking (Part I)

Bookmark Your Favorite Scenes with PowerDVD XP 4.0!
The Bookmark function allows you to save one or more scenes in a movie and then go directly to those scenes using three different modes (see below). PowerDVD XP 4.0 also offers a new and very special feature called Import/Export Bookmarking, which is unique to CyberLink, and is not available on any other DVD software decoder. Three Modes for Accessing Bookmarked Scenes:

1. Direct access to each scene in sequence,
2. Using the Viewer to see which bookmarked scene you want to select, or
3. By using the Browser list to select the scenes you want to go to.

To learn how to Bookmark, simply read the following instructions:

Add Bookmark Button

Step 1 Open your PowerDVD program and press the play button to start the movie.

Step 2 Locate the Add Bookmark button (shown above) on your User Interface. Depending on the skin you have chosen (we are using the default Crystal skin for this tutorial), you may have to open the "Pad" (press "/").

Step 3 When you find a scene in the movie you wish to bookmark, move your cursor over the Add Bookmark button and left click your mouse (or press "Ctrl + F2"). The scene will then be bookmarked and you will see the text "Bookmark added" in the top right hand section of the window*. You can continue to bookmark the scenes you want.

*Note: This is only if your OSD, in the Configuration menu, is set for displaying information in the top right corner of the window screen.
