Create a
compilation CD using existing music files
What you need:
•
CD burner/recordable drive
•
An editable CD or blank CD recordable disc
•
Your favorite music on a CD or saved as a file
on your computer
Step-by-step Instruction
Before you begin, place your recordable CD into your burner.
Step 1 : Select
Your Burning Task
In the "Select a Burning Task"
widow, click on the Music Disc icon, select CD
as the disc type, and choose the content type of
your music.
Step 2: Select
the Music
Find on your hard drive the music you
want to copy. If you want to rip files from CDs to your hard drive,
click on the link to the "Rip Audio" tutorial.
There are several ways to select the music you want to copy:
1)
By drag-n-drop: dragging the file from the top
to the bottom section,
2)
By highlighting the file and then click the Add icon, or
3)
By copying and pasting the file into Power2Go.
Before you continue, make sure you select
your CD burner drive located in the circled area below.
Step 3 :
Name Your CD (optional)
If you want to name your CD, first insert
the track information (title and artist) for all the songs. Right
click on the track and select Edit CD Text.
Then go to Configuration/Information
and select the Audio CD folder. Check the Enable CD text
box and input the album name and artist.
Step 4 :
Burn and Complete
Click
on the burn icon located on the taskbar at the top. Select the number
of copies you want to burn.
ClickBurn
to continue. A window will notify
you once the burning is completed. When you exit the program, you
will be asked if you want to save a copy of the CD contents you
just burned onto your computer.
Creating your own compilation CD is that
easy and fun. You can sort your music based on artist or genre or
create a "my favorites" CD or a compilation CD with all
the memorable songs for that special someone.
